Hi friends please guide me about fridge and car!!!,?

Hi Friends,
I have got a offer from abroad for work. Now I am leaving.After some months I will take my family there but I have bought a fridge. What to do with that fridge. I mean if I keep shut there will be prob. with the compressor….then can I keep it running? Also same about the car…!! may I keep the car on hoist?
Kindly guide me…!!

I’d leave the refrigerator turned off/unplugged. of course empty it first unless you like compost in the house. Clean it well - and leave the doors blocked open to avoid nasty smells inside. It will not hurt the compressor at all to leave the refrigerator unused.
The car is a different story. Not good on tires for them to sit on the same spot for loooong periods of time.. but more important is what can happen to fuel in the system. It can "varnish" and gum up inside the system. There are additives (one brand name is "stabil") that help, but you may need to check with a mechanic for more details on this one.
